Responsible Travel

If you travel for relaxation, fulfillment, discovery, adventure and to learn – rather than simply to tick off 'places and things' – then responsible travel is for you.

Responsible travel is, but not limited to:

• Travelling in smaller groups.
• Opening your eyes, bringing you closer to, and learning about, traditions, local cultures and environments by the regions citizens, allowing you to experience authentic traditions, cultures and rituals rather then those created for mass tourism.
• Respecting and benefiting local people and the environment.
• Involving local people in tourism and ensuring the dollars you spend goes back to those locals and regions you travel.
• Leaving no physical evidence of your visit but your footprints and some cultural exchange.
• Experiencing nature in its environment rather then behind glass and wire.
• Travelling with respect of all people and their cultures
• Replenishing your soul.

• Treat our visitors like guests rather then a number in a crowd.
• Only use local guides that have a passion for, and an intimate knowledge of custom, cultures and history, for, the countries where we operate.
• Stay in specific locations/places longer, allowing our guests get to know the place and its people better. Creating a deeper experience and not racing from one site to another or feeling as if you are herded like sheep.
• Promote boutique tourism and local suppliers of accommodation and food.
• Are able to provide advice to our guests on how to act responsible in the countries where we are travelling.
• That we photograph nature in nature with minimum impact.
